A team traveled to Cuba expecting to serve a church living under hardship. What they found instead was a congregation overflowing with joy, praise, and a trust in God's provision that put the visitors' own faith to the test. One of the strongest themes throughout Bret Tindol's piece is this: spiritual abundance and material abundance are not the same thing. It raises a huge question for those of us in the WE419 community: How do we cultivate that same "radical dependence" on Christ when we live in a culture of self-sufficiency?
