Last summer, James Loftin, a regular Wesleyan Accent contributor, and his wife spent six weeks traveling through East Asia. What they witnessed reminded them of something they already knew but had perhaps forgotten: God is always moving toward human brokenness. Every day, they watched God open doors they didn’t have the ability, language skills, or credentials to open themselves. They were reminded - again and again - that God doesn’t wait for perfect tools. He uses willing ones. God impressed eight insights on James' heart. He shared the first four already. Today, he's sharing the next four insights he believes the Church needs right now. They’re about: - Why compassion still matters more than competence - Why tears are not weakness but fuel for mission - Why your influence never expires - And how prayer reaches places your passport never will This isn’t a strategy article. It’s a story. And it’s an invitation. If you’ve ever wondered whether God could still use you… If you’ve ever felt the ache of a broken world and didn’t know what to do with it… If you’ve ever questioned whether your season of impact has passed… I hope you’ll take a few minutes to read this.
