There are moments in ministry when it’s easy to lose sight of the power that first called us. The meetings, the planning, the pressure - they can all make us forget just how big our God really is. In 2 Timothy 4:5, Paul tells Timothy to “discharge all the duties of your ministry.” Ministry isn’t just about preaching sermons or managing programs—it’s word and works, proclamation and healing. It’s remembering that we’ve been filled with the Holy Spirit’s power to do all the work of an evangelist. If you’ve ever found yourself weary or wondering where that power went, I invite you to take a few minutes to read Carolyn Moore's article. My hope is that it reminds you—no matter where you serve or how long you’ve been at it—that the same Spirit who filled the first disciples still fills us today.
