I love accents. I could listen to a Bostonian say “Harvard” all day or hear an English friend say “Cheers” and never get tired of it. Accents reveal real differences while still allowing us to understand each other. The same is true in the Church. Different Christian traditions have their own "accent"—distinct ways of speaking about faith—while still proclaiming the same Jesus. Today we're revisiting an article where Kevin Watson explores how our theological "accents" can unite rather than divide us. What makes the Wesleyan accent unique? And how does it help us live out "plain scriptural religion" today?
