In our latest article, Winston Worrell reflects on the privilege of teaching at a training seminar for Methodist pastors and laypersons in Cuba back in 2001. The seminar was filled with enthusiasm and receptivity and it was truly a testament to God's work among His people. Three years later, he organized the "Evangelism Conference of the Americas" in Havana, Cuba, bringing together pastors and laity from across the Americas to deepen their understanding of evangelism. The energy and passion for spreading the Gospel were palpable, and it was humbling to witness. However, the most heartwarming moment came almost 20 years later, during a return trip to Cuba. Visiting local congregations, Winston encountered Pastor Armando, who had attended the seminar in 2001 when he was only 17 years old. Armando's testimony of still implementing the teachings in his ministry and witnessing the growth and vitality of his congregation was truly inspiring. I invite you to read the full article to journey through these experiences of God's faithfulness and the transformative power of evangelism. It's a story of seeds planted, unseen growth, and the joy of witnessing God's work unfold over time. May it encourage and uplift you in your own walk of faith, reminding us all of the incredible ways God works through His people to advance His Kingdom.
