“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, behold the new has come.” (2 Cor. 5:17) There is a sense in which the Christian walk is an imitation of Christ – a call to walk as Christ walked. Isn’t that the way it should be with Christians? But it’s more than that. We must go beyond the imitation of Christ to immerse ourselves in Christ. Today, we're talking about the two requirements for becoming a new creation: imitation and immersion.
