In the midst of a world shrouded in confusion, the words of Jesus echo: "I am the Light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the Light of life." (John 8:12 NIV) These profound words resonate as a beacon of hope and understanding, cutting through the obscurity that surrounds us. Imagine a lamp for the soul, radiating amidst the shadows. Jesus stands as that illuminating presence, shining abundantly amid the bewildering complexity of the world. The term "world," in this context, refers to a world that has drifted from its connection with God, described as a state of blindness and wandering, a darkness. When Jesus proclaims, "I am the Light of the world," He establishes Himself as the conduit through which understanding and direction can be attained; everything is unveiled in His light. Moreover, His light doesn't merely provide guidance, but also leads to true life. Darkness signifies the absence of light and, by definition, it is nothing... Only light cast out all darkness and serves as the source of guidance and life. Jesus is our source of Light or our sun. According with science  if the physical sun would go out, no life could survive on most of earth’s surface within a few weeks. Water and air would freeze over into sheets of ice. Just as life cannot exist without the sun, similarly, in the realm of the spirit, a life without Jesus ceases to exist, it will freeze...
